Why not visit beautiful Chagford soon?  It makes a wonderful day out with its collection of stylish shops that cluster around the town centre and a selection of great places to eat.

Opposite the Market House, known locally as the Pepper Pot, you'll find two 100-year old general stores that have managed to trade successfully side by side as long as anyone can remember.  This is because they sell everything; Dartmoor clothing, walking boots, camping equipment, compasses, binoculars, walking poles and maps, children's toys, ironmongery and tools, cookware, electrical goods, housewares and gardening requisites.  Of course, there is magnificent walking and lots of inspiring outdoor activities around Chagford and right across Dartmoor to test out your new kit.

Chagford is well equipped for the hungry foodie who wants to take home someting tasty from a day out in Chagford.
